John is an actor, voice-over artist, director, playwright, poet and theatre teacher.  His most memorable teachers were  Lewis B. Palter, Donald Wilson and Bari Rolfe in Los Angeles; and Zbignew Cynkutis and William Kuhlke in Kansas. Plays he has written have been read or produced at The Cleveland Public Playhouse, Karamu House Theatre (Cleveland), Business Casual Productions (NYC), the University of Kansas and the Kansas City Fringe Festival.

Over the years, he has had the opportunity to direct 45 plays for professional and educational theatre, including work by Beckett, Shakespeare, Chekhov and Shaw.
