Tess began acting at a very young age (in front of her stuffed animals.) She first performed on stage around age 10 but her last performance in a play was in college: Aunt Eller in Oklahoma! Tess spent 16 years as a television news reporter, but left the business in 2013 after the birth of her first child. She’s enjoyed getting back into acting again, and is especially passionate about voiceover work. She loves reading to her two young children, and they enjoy all the fun voices she creates for the characters. Tess also teaches at the University of Kansas, does freelance public relations and writing, and volunteers with various local charities.
